Take the Breesus Challenge!

posted by Breesus on December 7, 2009

Most people are really good at predicting things that already happened, especially when it comes to sports games. They love to brag on their clairvoyance by stating that they “called it” way back when, while of course you know they’re nothing but a lying sack of ochocinco’s. So that’s why Breesus is giving you the chance to go on the record this time around.

Do you believe that the Saints are going to go 16-0 in the regular season? Do you think they’ll even win the SuperBowl? In other words, do you believe in the Bless You Boys? If you do, then testify below – Be the first to go on record and proclaim your faith!

On the other hand, are you a seasoned Saints fan or disgruntled lifelong spectator who thinks (OK, you know!) that this is just a magic carpet ride? Too many let-downs in the past just won’t let you take the leap of faith? Tell us why you feel like you do.

Whatever you feel, there’s no better time to say what you believe…

Ok, I might as well be the first to say it:

I’ve been keeping a close eye on this squad, and they’ve got everything it takes to win every remaining game. We’ve had some injury issues lately, but our guys are beginning to get healthy again. So I like our chances in every game…

    The Saints are going 16NO!

    I doubt it.

I was there for the opening kickoff in 1967 and thought then that we were going all the way to a championship. What a letdown that has been. However, it quite apparent that this team has all the ingrediants necessary to not only make it to Superbowl, but to win the damned thing.
    GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, my dear children, I do believe that these 2009 Saints are blessed and will be rewarded in this life with a Superbowl win. May their individual and collective sins be forgiven, may their lives reflect the goodness their mothers taught them. May Tom Benson receive the gift of happiness and may the permanent scowl on his face evolve into a pleasant smile. And let’s not forget to pray to all of our favorite Saints for all of our favorite Saints.
My blessing is with you forever. Sister Benedict

I thought Holmes died of the Swine Flu? As Sister Benedict would say to him, “Doubt will allow Lucifer to take over your life.” 19-0 baby! Breesus showed Sunday that we can score by throwing INTs, Meachamp is the man!

At this point yes … Dallas is the real hurdle as we should handle Atlanta, Tampa and Carolina

Way to have faith, fans. More victory shall come for thine New Orleanian brethren.

No Stebe…I did not die of swine flu although there was a rumor spreading around Hattiesburg that the Mexican government quarantined me to a room with nothing but sandwiches and dvds and not allowed to come back while I was on my honeymoon. I’m still here to keep doubting the Saints. They do look unbelievably good but they are still the Saints. We shall see. Maybe they will prove me wrong.

    Ah, brother Holmes:

What a unfortunate situation for you to be stuck in your room with sandwiches and DVDs. One can only imagine how much you’ve grown in your short time of marriage…

I too understand that after all, these are the Saints we’re talking about. However, I implore thee to seek the side of faith, for you shall be rewarded in the afterlife (well, at least the offseason.)

Now go forth, and believe. Then get back to your porn, my son.

Fortunately I was never stuck in the room. Someone thought it would be funny to start that rumor and it took off. However, I would not have complained much if the Mexican government would have quarantined me for two weeks if the sandwiches were grilled cheese sammiches and all the dvds were porn! That would have been the most bout it honeymoon ever!!
